You Made Your Bed, Now Lay in it.

Judgement is inevitable. We often forget that we have been called into a life different from the rest of the world. We so often scorn and turn our nose upon the children of Israel and their whoredom, trying our very best to not be them that we carve our lives just like theirs. Mankind often excuse themselves from true repentance saying;

“ I am human, I am bound to mistakes.”

“ We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

“I am from Adam’s seed, a sinful man”

When will we acknowledge the fact that we have spread a bed of sin and immersed ourselves in sheets of sinful living. When will we take responsibility for our actions and Repent.

“Turn ye even to me with all your heart… Rend you heart and not your garments” Joel 2: 12b,13a God is calling us the new age Israelites, the lovers gone astray, the harlots, the acquainted roommates to repentance. Not a show where we get an applause for our performance from the crowd, not a politician putting on a facade to gain peoples support. But I am looking for Elisha’s who recognize that they are unclean like the people they lead, Davids who acknowledge that they are just as sinful as those on the outside. Come up from the pride that have buried you in graves of sin and be resurrected by repentance. Restoration will not happen unless you repent. Rise from the slumber and titles that blind your eyes from the fellowship I call you in. I await your arrival to my throne.

You want restoration from the effects the locusts, canker worm, caterpillar and palmer worm have created. Well repent. Lay yourselves bare before Me and I will restore to you what was lost.
