You stubborn people! Seek God for yourselves and stop depending on others. Whenever you want a word from God you turn to your pastors, your bishops and your youth leaders. “Is my word limited to just them?” Wasn't the veil torn? Didn't my son shed His blood so that you can be renewed and a close relationship can be established? You act like a slave in my house. You stand at the door that holds your inheritance, asking every stranger for crumbs at their table when I own the storehouse. My servants eat better than they do. Why do you settle for less? Why do you commit yourselves to lovers that won't help you?
“Pray for me, where should I go? what did God say I should do?” Why don’t you ask me for yourselves? Am I too far that you can't get to me? Am I not next to you so that I can hear you? Didn’t I say I would never leave you nor forsake you? Did I not say that when the righteous cry out, I, the LORD hears them; and will deliver them from all their troubles?
Why do you commit yourselves to third party prophecies? Why do you settle for things that are almost good enough? Why don’t you hear my words from the source? Everything has stopped, all distractions are off, so why do you still cling to others for the word and my will concerning your life. Seek me for yourselves. I didn’t send my Son to die on the Cross, shed His blood, tear the veil for you to still be going to your priests and prophets.
This is not an invitation to disobey your leaders and be a rebellious child. Honor the authority the Lord placed in your life.
Just a reminder that Jesus came to have RELATIONSHIP. He came so that you can meet God face to face. So that his presence can be with you. But you take don't take full advantage of it. You disregard his presence, him. Do you even know the voice of God? Or are your ears filled with the voices of his servants?
