I get my room together. Take a shower. Brush my teeth. For some reason, I choose my best clothes, or wait in no clothes at all. I even fix my hair sometimes and maybe a little perfume if I’m feeling fancy. Whatever I feel I need to do to be prepared, I do the most for you, and sometimes it doesn’t even take much at all. After every time we meet, we agree that it will be our last, yet two days later we end up meeting again. No matter how bad things are, it seems I always have to run back to you. Yet, when things are good, I still wanna be around you. You make me feel a high that I somehow feel I can’t get anywhere else. We’ve had great times, especially since no one really knows about us; or so I thought…..
But this time, I’m serious. I know I’ve probably said it a million times. Look at me! I’m not joking this time. I have something important to tell you. My main has been talking about our future and I genuinely want that for me and Him. He’s always been so good to me and I don’t want to continue to hurt him. I’m pretty sure He knows what’s up but I’m ending things here to confess everything to Him. I have to heal from all of this, and I know He’s so forgiving that He’ll be there for me to get through it all. When I walk through this door, I won’t be looking back and don’t try to reach out to me either. I blocked all ways that we’d be able to communicate. I even shared with a couple of friends about you, so you’re not so sneaky at all anymore. It’s often said, “what’s done in the darkness must come to light”. Well, here I am leaving the darkness behind and choosing to be in the light.
In darkness, it’s a facade of what seems to be a safe place.
In darkness, we think that it’s harmless, but that’s where we are harmed the most.
In darkness, we assume we’re fearless, yet develop even more fears.
In darkness, we effortlessly fail to be remorseful because there’s no witness nor evidence.
In darkness, we feel invincible because of familiar territory.
In darkness, it’s a never ending masquerade because we’re never our true selves.
John 8:12 says, When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
In the light, we sign the best lifetime contract you could possibly think of with Heaven Studios.
In the light, our self-development takes center stage.
In the light, we notice that some of the extras aren’t qualified to have a role.
In the light, we finally get to see and appreciate our production team.
In the light, we are able to navigate the set designs as scenes change.
In the light, we HAVE to allow God to be the Director of our lives.
Whatever or whoever that sneaky link is for you, I implore you to make an important decision.
I leave this with you….. Choose ye this day whom you will serve. Choose Christ! Choose Light! It won’t be easy, especially since it requires 100% vulnerability. However, being in a full-committed relationship with God is WORTH IT! He proposed and I said YES!
